Orwellian religion

The last time I went to church I went with my mom because she asked me to. Her parents had asked her to come and she probably didn't want to be surrounded by people she was uncomfortable around. The sermons centered on 'ebortion doctors' and 'homosekshuls' so much so that any real claim to communal worship got lost in the political indoctrination. It was an easter service, I would have expected more christian mythology than right wing yammering. I expected the day to be a waste of time, but I didn't realize how much of a right wing rally church had become.
